Another Wonderful Year

Once again, we want to thank each and every one of you for making the past season at Harborfields one of the best ever. Every member of the Harborfields family feels honored to have made the acquaintance of all of you over the years, and we hope to see you all in the coming season. Every year brings us closer to realizing our goal of providing our guests with the best vacation experience we can offer, with a minimum of ants, leaks, clogs, drips and power outages. And, considering where we started, we figure we're doing pretty well on that front!

New Reservation Dates

Beginning January 2nd, 2008 we will be accepting reservations for the coming season from returning guests, with first-come-first-served reservations starting on February 1st. In the past, as most of you know, we have taken returning guest reservations beginning December 1st. This date, however, was an arbitrary one that we inherited from past management and had a couple of drawbacks, the first being that, in the midst of the holiday season, who wants to be bothered with the added burden of making reservations for next summer's vacation?

The second reason has to do with accounting, and an attempt to keep each year's income neatly within the calendar year for ease of bookkeeping and tax preparation. We hope that this doesn't end up being too big an inconvenience for all of you, and we're sure that, in true Harborfields fashion, in twenty or thirty years most guests won't even remember that December 1st ever existed.
